River trails right out the door for walking, fishing, kayaking. Great spot for foraging, wildlife sitings and star gazing. Furnished kitchen, BBQ on the deck, super comfy bed. Our well is spring fed and glacial. It gets dark and quiet at night. Come reconnect.

We designed and built our White Salmon Retreat to be a family-friendly, pet-friendly ($20/pet) and therapeutic space set in the trees where your soul can find rest and relaxation. Our Retreat is surrounded by mature Fir, Oak, and Maple trees and frequented by the local wildlife. We are excited to share this space with you. Fully stocked kitchen! We use scent-free laundry soap and cleaning supplies. Washer/Dryer. Deck with fire pit table and gas grill. Nectar mattress is SO COMFORTABLE!

***IMPORTANT***From December - April we maintain access to the basement apartment unit from Friday-Sunday (ski season!). This is an entirely separate unit with separate entrances. Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Secluded Mt. Hood Cabin Retreat

Escape to the Burke cabin near Mt. Hood, just 3.3 miles from Highway 26. Step out the front door to sweeping Mt Hood views, a 7-acre open prairie, and easy access to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and outdoor recreation. Sleeps 6 with a queen bedroom and loft with queen bed + futon. Features a full kitchen, clawfoot tub, and fire pit under the stars, perfect for a Mt Hood getaway, romantic retreat, or outdoor basecamp. Pets welcome with additional fees.

Located at the foothills of Mt. Adams, Cluster Flock Farms and Vineyard is a rustic, secluded, and spectacular natural setting in the Columbia Gorge for your getaway. Enjoy gorgeous working vineyards and mountain views tucked away in a stunning landscape of pastoral rolling hills and peaceful northwest woodlands. Our place is close to family-friendly activities and is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. The yurt is a great place to disconnect and unwind in every season. We built it as a family and we’re excited to share it with you. Yurt has full kitchen, bath & laundry. Private road access, tucked in the back corner of our 5 acres. The hot tub is midway between our house and the yurt. It is solely yours to use during your visit. Please purchase Trip Insurance.
