Abbey view is a hidden gem, situated on Bagdale. The cottage is a short walking distance from the centre of Whitby with restaurants, cafes and pubs on hand. The cottage itself is split over three levels and as per the namesake, the property boasts views of the Abbey from the lounge balcony. The bi-fold doors lead to the balcony which is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. Although recently renovated, Abbey View retains its original charm with beautiful furnishings throughout.

This unique, historic character cottage has been designed to maximise the stunning views over the bay. The beautiful ground floor bedroom has doors leading to the sunny courtyard. Off the bedroom is a en-suite. The 1st floor living area, is a spacious relaxing space with a well equipped kitchen. Free parking for 1 car. EV charging available. 45p pkw Guests must be 25+ There are multiple floors levels and various steps inside, the property isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Nestled on the edge of a mature woodland, perfectly positioned for open country side views drifting out to sea. Be at one with nature and awaken to sunrise views surrounded by wildlife. Within a National Park, and Dark Sky Reserve. Access footpaths for country walks, enjoy the amenities of Scarborough and the Yorkshire Coast. Beaches, country pubs, fish and chips are all a short drive away, then back to relax in the Hot Tub. What ever the reason we are here for your celebration or break away.

The Highlander

Sandsend Beach is only four miles away and Runswick Bay three which offer some great local dining treats. Whitby is the local town approx a fifteen minutes drive. Sleights is approximately 3 miles from the quaint seaside town of Whitby, renowned for the gothic novel ‘Dracula’, its stunning Norman Abbey, and delicious fish and chips. This countryside haven is the perfect escape from the rush and stress of city life.

This modern nautical themed ground floor apartment (accessed up 6 steps front and rear) is a short stroll to the beach, pubs and bustling town centre but ideally situated on the West Cliff to enjoy the quieter part of town. Spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa-bed and fabulous views of the Abbey, one separate double bedroom and large separate walk-in shower room. Parking space onsite or car park 1 minute away. Shared use of the front patio to enjoy the views. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Sandside Retreat

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

Moo’s is our converted stone cottage with a lovely living kitchen with cast iron stove and a vintage country feel. A handmade turned staircase leads up to the en-suite bedroom with metal bed stead and roll top bath. Adjacent there is a spacious covered patio area with seating, dining and storage, which looks across to an outdoor patio with fruit trees seating and parking space.
