Surridge Cottage - Peaceful retreat

Surridge Cottage is an idyllic cottage set within it's own private garden on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The cottage has been fully renovated and decorated to a luxuriously high standard. The cottage is the perfect place to relax and take in the peacefulness of the surrounding countryside either sat in the hot tub or snuggled up inside by the wood burner. It is a great base for exploring Exmoor and the neighbouring towns of Dulverton and Bampton, boasting amazing shops and restaurants.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.

Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

Disconnect from the world into a beautiful, luxurious and spacious hut with its own private wood fired hot tub. Nestled in the Avill valley in a very quiet part of Exmoor National Park, the ideal place for exploring the beautiful moor and gorgeous coastline of Exmoor, all on the doorstep. Abundant wildlife can be seen from the hut, including deer, foxes and buzzards over-head. Amazing views and total seclusion await. Underfloor heating and log burner ensure the hut is cosy & comfortable.

Keep it simple in this peaceful retreat in the centre of Wheddon Cross. Exmoor is an international dark sky reserve and The Retreat couldn’t be better placed for stargazing. A few steps take you to the Rest and be Thankful coaching inn, loved by locals and visitors, it is renowned for its Sunday carvery. There is also a petrol station with a supermarket in the village, stocking fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from local farms, it also has an in-house bakery for your fresh baked needs.

Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty this is the place to be.

Nestled in the tranquil heart of Exmoor, this 2 bedroom, dog friendly cottage is the ideal spot for couples or families wanting a peaceful getaway. It also has all the comforts of home with Wi-Fi, Central Heating, and EV Chargers. Rose Cottage is a 10min walk to Wheddon Cross, which has a welcoming pub, shop, and petrol station. Recently refurbished, Rose has new beds and applicances - it is the most luxurious of our six cottages at Little Quarme Farm.

1 Coastguard Cottages

1 Coastguard Cottages is one of a terrace of five Grade 2 listed houses built in 1877 for the Admiralty. It is situated on the edge of Minehead bay with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel to the islands of Steepholm and Flatholm and the Welsh coastline. It is just steps from the start of the South West Coast Path and a perfect location for a family holiday. Walks from the front door give quick access to the Exmoor National Park on North Hill.

Steam Railway Shepherd’s Hut, Somerset

The Railway Hut is a self-contained shepherd’s hut for two, with luxuriously comfortable double bed with all seasons duvet. En-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Kitchenette with all the basics ready for your arrival. For the chilly winter evenings you’ll find a cosy log burner laid and ready to light. Outside facilities include designated parking, private outdoor seating, bbq and fire pit. We also have secure bike storage.
