Welcome to our Scandinavian timber-cladded cabin situated in a quiet rural setting only 6km from Athenry town with its medieval castle, cosy pubs, good restaurants, and shops. Athenry has rail/bus connections with Dublin, Limerick and Galway City. An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

The Derrylaura Experience

A haven of peace and tranquility. 2.5km outside the beautiful village of Oughterard at the gateway to Connemara. The cosy cabin is immersed in nature surrounded by the greenery of trees and fields. Enjoy a leisurely morning on the balcony listening to the birdsong and a relaxing night star watching. Owned by a local artist the grounds have unique features with beautiful stonework, a stone ruin, and sculptures in the gardens. Pets are welcome, unfortunately not suitable for infants or children.

The Lodge Mountain View Log Cabin Attymass Ballina

The Lodge Mountainview is a short scenic trip off the Wild Atlantic Way, This brand new log cabin is situated at the foot of the Ox Mountains in the village of Attymass which is a place of mountains and lakes and breath taking scenery. There is a newly opened loop walk which passes Ballymore lake with breath taking views, for the more experienced walker The Foxford way has amazing views and goes along the Ox Mountains. If its cycling why not bring your bikes/bike for a trek around the area.

Situated along the Bogland trails, why not enjoy a day admiring the views & spotting the abundance of local wildlife, before returning to take a dip in the tub.

The A-Frame

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The A-Frame is situated 15km from Westport (on the Louisburgh road) on an elevated site overlooking Clew Bay and Old Head. The A-Frame has 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and an open-plan kitchen/living room. It is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, the perfect place to discover Croagh Patrick and some of Mayo's most beautiful beaches.
