Secluded converted stable cottage within the grounds of Burnfoot House, a small 19th century country estate which enjoys peaceful surroundings and wonderful wildlife. Located beside the charming Border Esk River, guests can enjoy wonderful walks in the countryside, with amenities provided by the historic town of Langholm nearby. Salmon and Sea Trout fishing are available in season on our private beat at additional charge of £20 per day per rod. Dogs are welcome at no additional cost.

Larriston Coach House is a large four-bedroomed cottage, part of a very rural 19th century farm steading on 28 acres, with 2,500 acres of hillside starting at the doorstep. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out. The skies are dark, the mobile reception is zero and the silence is deafening.

The Stables at Bankshill is a self contained cottage with king bedroom and large sofa. Private garden with patio and decking area with Scandinavian hot tub and outdoor kitchen . Dog Friendly. We also have The Firkin Hell, a private pub on site which you will get exclusive use of during your stay for music, karaoke, darts and retro games machine. BYOB as we are unable to sell alcohol. Perfect for a romantic couples retreat.
