A studio unit at the rear of our Marine Parade property. 50m over the domain to a surf/ swimming beach. 20m to the Kawatiri Coastal Bike trail 100m to Donaldos café/ resturant, bar and takeaways. 1 minutes drive to the Golf Course and 3 minutes drive to Westport Airport. Perfect base to explore all Buller has to offer. Or just enjoy a beach break. Stroll to the beach and watch one of our famous sunsets over the Tasman Sea. We have moved into the Bach. The Cookhouse - Beachside Hannah’s Clearing, Haast

Welcome to "The Cookhouse". Suituated a short 20 minute drive south of Haast, Hannahs Clearing is a small township established in 1962 to house workers the Carters Sawmill. The historic Cookhouse was built to cook for workers at the Mill, which eventually closed in 1979. The house sits in amongst native plantings on the beach side of the road, with access to the beach. The home is warm, cosy and sympathetic to its era. A fabulous getaway no matter the weather, for couples & families

Located on a private section, sheltering right behind the sea wall and within minutes of the amazing Pancake rocks and the stunning Paparoa National Park, this bach enjoys a truly ideal location. An abundance of activities such as kayaking, surfing, mountain biking, walking, swimming and stand up paddle boarding await only a few minutes walk away.

Cabin on the Beach

Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with our other cabin guests. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.
