The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

Our room is a private space; be it for honeymoon, couple’s time, or a young family’s getaway, kite surfers or the business man. We are not into the usual “mass accommodation style”. Our goal was to create a space where we would want to spend our own holidays and then share this with family, friends and guests. The house has all the amenities that you need including a fully stocked kitchen that includes that air fryer that no one can go without. games table and a wood fired hot tub available as well for all to enjoy !

Situated on a 1.4 hectare small holding a five-minute walk away from the closest bay. Spring time we are covered with a carpet of flowers.
