For the budget-conscious traveler, our Cabin Light rooms - with shared, single occupancy restrooms and showers - offer a quieter, less expensive alternative to standard rooms. These rooms are located in the interior of the building, providing more insulation from downtown Astoria. With a plush queen bed, original apron sinks, and original artwork, the Cabin Light rooms are an ideal fit for those looking to spend a little less but still take advantage of all that the Norblad Hotel has to offer.

Suite 1 - The Desert Rambler

The Desert Rambler Suite is #1 and is the largest of our 5 rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet oasis retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This spacious suite has a queen bed, complete kitchen with oven and large fridge, and a small second room with a double bed. Situated on 2+ acre private grounds with a beautiful pool. Peaceful, secluded, yet close to Joshua Tree, 29 Palms Highway, the National Park, and other local attractions.

Ocean View Mirror Cabin - Private Bath, Sleeps 2

Our South Cape Mirror Cabins contain 1 queen bed sleeps 2. Each Cabin comes with an ensuite, modern luxury bathroom, heated flooring, heat/AC, blackout shades, wet bar, seating area, fridge, coffee/tea set up and an outdoor patio + fire pit. Beach is a 7-minute walk. NO cooking is available in the unit, restaurants are 5 minutes down the road in Pacific City. Parking is located cabin side. On arrival, please check in with site host first. Mirror cabins are not pet friendly.

Inn off Ski Run – 1 Queen Bed w/ Private Bath

Trillium Cafe & Inn, Room #1

Room 1 has an ocean view from all windows, the bathroom is across the hall. Be sure to make dinner reservations before you arrive, as during our busy season and weekends we do book up for dinner each night. We DO NOT accept small children, as the space is not safe for little kids. The windows don't have screens, and the stairs are steep. We are also not handicapped accessible in our rooms, as they are upstairs. The restaurant is.

Located in Packwood (not Randle) and across from Longmire Springs Brewing, the Myrtle Falls Suite at The Peak is a cozy king studio designed for couples exploring Mt. Rainier and White Pass. The cozy Creekside Room at Dennen’s Victorian Farmhouse is a guest favorite. It features a queen size bed, a large wood-burning fireplace with duraflame logs provided, and a panoramic view of the property. This is a pet friendly room. Enjoy complimentary access to our communal tea room, which offers a curated selection of local teas.
