Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. Come on out and make some memories!

Tastefully decorated home just 8 minutes from Livingston in the back of a quiet subdivision with natural privacy. Beautifully landscaped, well kept yard. Outdoor gathering areas. Finished concrete flooring. The many windows allow for beautiful natural light. Central air and heat as well as a fireplace. Fiber optic WiFi along with flat screen TVs equipped with Netflix and other apps. Spacious kitchen equipped with double sink and dishwasher. Ice maker in freezer with space to store your items.

The Jim and Charity downtown Silsbee

Relax with the family at this peaceful, fully renovated vintage farmhouse in downtown Silsbee, Texas. Nestled among oak trees with a creek in the backyard and a cozy porch swing, the home is as inviting outside as it is inside. Named The Jim and Charity after my great-great-grandparents who lived here, this space carries warmth, history, and comfort. Come enjoy the beauty, quiet, and heritage found in this special place, and make your own memories in this hidden gem! WiFi/cable included!

The Ponderosa

The Ponderosa is relaxing and peaceful for anyone. If you need more space, we have outdoor areas for RVs or tents. This is a great space for gatherings such as: crawfish boils, family reunions, birthdays, a romantic couple getaway or a family escape from everyday life. Come out and enjoy nature and look at the stars at the Ponderosa. Lake Sam Rayburn is 35 min., Steinhagen Reservoir is 10 min. away and Big Thicket National Game preserve is minutes away. Shooting on property needs approval.

Timber Wolf Cabin

Nestled near the scenic Woodlands Trail within Big Thicket National Preserve, this log cabin places right next to over 14,000 acres of breathtaking natural beauty. Just 2.5 miles away is the Naskila Casino,known as the “Luckiest Spot in Texas”perfect for a fun evening escape or a quick getaway. Back at Timber Wolf Cabin, relax and reconnect. This is more than just a place to stay, this handcrafted log cabin offers a truly memorable experience surrounded by the quiet beauty of the woods.

Barndo-Peaceful, sleeps 4, minutes from town!

Take it easy at this unique and cozy barndominium studio minutes away from downtown Silsbee. 100 yards from main house. Relax while swinging on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning (or wine at night:) Take a hike in the Big Thicket National Preserve, or go canoeing or kayaking down the famous Village Creek (ask us how!) You can also learn area history at the Silsbee Ice House Museum. Check out our property map in the pictures to see walking trails.

Rooster Tail Resort

Quaint studio guest house located on a private 2 mile lake, ideal for all boating activities including fishing, water skiing or just soaking up the sun. This property is secluded under a shaded canopy of oaks, in a quiet, country setting. A fire pit, BBQ area, swim area and dock, which is fitted with cleats for docking your boat or jet skies, are available for use. Plenty of parking. Pets under 20lbs are allowed with PRE-APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING ONLY.

Just Chillin by the Lake

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. If there is anything else you would like, we can try and make it happen. Just ask.

The Longhorn Guest Cabin

This is a newly renovated guest cabin located on a 70 acre ranch with access to walking trails, the Theuvinin creek for fishing and three miles from the start of the National Park Service Turkey Creek trail and the Pitcher Plant Trail. During summer months the park service has night hikes, canoeing, star gazing and free fishing days. Microwave oven available. Cabin accommodates 4 guest with a minimum of a four night stay. Cabin is nonsmoking.

The Farmhouse

Leave the fast-paced internet world behind and enjoy nature at its best at The Farmhouse. Relax on the back porch overlooking our 9 acres of magnificent trees while sipping your morning coffee or playing cards as the evening winds down. Take a walk through the backyard along trails to a swing in the midst of this tranquil forest or be more adventurous and hike into an uncharted area of the Big Thicket bordering our backyard.
