A truly private retreat comes w/ modern conveniences including: EV charger, smart devices, flat-screen TV, standing desk, wood burning stove & spa bathrobes.

Shenandoah Mountain House (Guest Suite)

Smells of the forest. Sights of the mountain. Conveniences of home. Welcome to our little secret in Shenandoah! Our chalet is situated on the hills surrounding Shenandoah Valley. Walk 25 minutes to the river. Drive 10 minutes to the national park entrance and Skyline Drive. Roads are in excellent condition year-round. Your guest suite is on the ground floor, recently finished, with a private entrance (separate from the main house), with access to outdoor space, deck, swings, fire pit etc.

The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Location and value is what you will get. A level up from Glamping. Minutes drive to Shenandoah National Park. Walking to the shops on Main Street and Martin’s grocery store. You will have the house to yourself. Disclaimer: House is old and has holes bugs come in. Although measures are taken to prevent this, water bugs and crickets have been sighted. Driveway allows 3 cars.
