A short 10-minute walk to the railway or a 15-minute drive to Mount Ruapehu, it offers easy access to amenities and dining options. Complete with a well-equipped kitchen, heat pump, and included linen, it’s perfect for couples or small families. Please note you are required to clean before departure.

Chateau 825 is extremely handy for all your alpine adventures, summer or winter. Walk the crossing or ski the mountain, this beautiful part of NZ is yours to enjoy. Chateau 825, is modern and well- equipped for friends or families offering 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, Drying Room, and great kitchen for all your self-catering needs. The lounge with TV, Freeview, Stereo, wood fire(free firewood) instant gas hot water are all part of this modern home with many extras to make your stay comfortable.

Tui Cabin

This container home is set in a private spot surrounded by native bush with a view of the mountain through the trees. The interior of the cabin consists of a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and wood burner. The container has a cosy ambience with lots of light on a sunlit day. Large ranchsliders connect you to the natural world outside for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, skiing or mountain exploring. Walk across the road to dine or relax and cook at home.

Black Box Cottage

Beautiful open style cottage to yourselves with great deck and views of the mountains . All bedrooms are off the main living area which encourages plenty of family time. 20 meter walk to shuttle pick up in National Park. The famous Tongariro Crossing, Ring of Fire (March 2020), 42 Traverse are some of the regions major events. National Park has access to awesome mountain bike tracks and some of the most beautiful scenic walking treks in New Zealand. Cafes and pubs all within 5mins walk.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).
