Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Town is only 8 minutes drive away. A great place as a base to tour the Coromandel. We have a comfy beds, peacefulness and typical Kiwi Hospitality.Please note the cost is $60.00 p.p. per night. Includes self catered breakfast options. Please note WiFi does not reach the pods or kitchenette. You will need your own data.

Boutique French Charm (Hobbiton movie set 14mins)

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located stay, 700m walk to town. It is completely separate from the main house with your own exclusive bathroom in a separate building. It is elegantly furnished with premium products and is set in rose gardens. Matamata/Hobbiton town has 7 delicious cafés, boutique shops, bars, supermarkets & restaurants. Fresh coffee is a short 250m stroll, as well as the beautiful Tom Grant Drive park walk. Hobbiton tour buses leave daily from town.

Sea Esta Chalet 2 mins to beach

Our brightly coloured Chalet is fully self contained and sleeps up to 8 people in two bedrooms. This little haven is just 150 metres from beautiful Waihi Beach! Downstairs there is one set of bunk beds and one queen bed. The mezzanine floor has four single beds. Perfect for couples or groups and families. There is a kitchenette and your own BBQ outdoors. Linen including bedding and towels are provided. A TV with digital Freeview, basic access and a DVD player is also provided.

Cozy and relaxing little beach house

Our cozy Whangamata two storey beach house has two bedrooms upstairs, open plan living downstairs and is perfect for a couple or small family to spend time in one of New Zealand's best little towns. It is within walking distance of both the surf beaches and the estuary. The house is filled with everything you need so that you can walk in and relax. The garden area is flat and perfect to park vehicles, sit outside or play games if you are not planning to go to the beach.

Romantic night in a 'Hole in the Ground'

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
