Sunset Beach House - gorgeous beachfront getaway!

Sunny, spacious and warm with vibrant colour inside and out, Sunset Beach House has a mix of vintage and modern furnishings, and everything you could wish for, for a holiday or getaway at Otaki's beautiful beach. Fully equipped with four spacious bedrooms on a quarter acre section, there's plenty of room to spread out and relax. A house for all seasons, enjoy leisurely beach walks, sun, surf and sand in the Summer, or cosy up by the fire in Winter and take in the snow on the beautiful Tararuas.

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Te Kohanga Eco Lodge

Relax and enjoy sunny Plimmerton, the tranquility of the bush and the comfort of this new eco house. Te Kohanga Eco Lodge was built in 2019 and is only minutes' walk from the beach at Karehana Bay in Plimmerton, a popular beach destination with its own cafe culture. In the winter, the eco lodge is heated using infrared heating panels on the ceiling. The heating is pre-set for your comfort and will provide you with the same kind of warmth that you would expect in a European house in the winter.

Sunny Seaside Escape- Raumati South

Within an easy 40 minutes from Wellington you will find Rosetta Escape, a sunny & light apartment style home with private beach access. Enjoy early morning swims and sunset walks on the beach, a wood burner and a large sunroom, perfect for both summer & winter breaks. An ideal spot to do all your water sports, tramp or hunt in the nearby hills & to visit the famous birth sanctuary that is Kapiti Island. Both Raumati South & Beach offer some cool cafes, restaurants and quality shopping.

Beside the lagoon - Waikanae Beach

A sunny and secluded beach cottage overlooking Waimanu lagoon with views to the Tarurua Ranges inland. A short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. Accommodation includes a twin room downstairs next to the bathroom, queen bedroom on the mezzanine and another living space with a futon sofa bed. Outside seating areas front and back. Wake up to see ducks and swans on the water - a truly relaxing and peaceful place to unwind.

Glamping At Johns Hut, Country Pines

Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!

Romantic and Adventurous

Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Holiday home (Bach) - Waikanae Beach

This is our Bach we have set up to enjoy with our family and friends. If you would like to use it for a weekend or short stays get in touch with us. (Free Wifi). It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. A bach is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house. Baches are an iconic part of New Zealand history and culture, especially in the middle of the 20th century, where they symbolised the beach holiday lifestyle that was becoming more accessible.

Peaceful sanctuary in a park-like setting, just minutes from several great beaches & the Otaki Gorge/River. Equipped with a spa, this is the perfect place to unwind. The house is a modern architecturally-designed retreat with 3 bedrms (sleeps 6), 3 bathrms, kitchen, scullery & large garden with mature trees. A suntrap all year round & great for relaxation. The fireplace will keep you cozy in winter. No parties, smoking and guests.

Free wifi, cleaning & breakfast. My place is close to a beautiful, sandy and family beach. The house has a large three level deck with plenty of room for families & friends. It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery & two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay.

Beach Heaven is exactly that a little bit of Heaven only 800 meters from beach & village providing many cafes, restaurants & boutique shopping. The house boasts two outdoor living areas. The backyard is secluded & bathed in sun. Or you can lounge on the front terrace enjoying a sundowner & sunset combined. Wake up to the Tui’s and native bird life in your perfect sanctuary.
