This home is on Puget Island in the Columbia River with water front property, a dock, newly developed home with hip styling, a foodie equipped kitchen. The landscaping is incredible! This spot is an idyllic island getaway overlooking a pristine section of the Columbia River, at the mouth of an inlet with a protected dock off the main river current. A great adventure basecamp for boaters, anglers, kayakers, and Jones Beach OR the kite boarding destination is at the eastern part of the island.

Bike around the island; it's perfectly flat. Bring your boat, kayak, paddle boards or canoe and tie up to the dock so you can explore the spectacular Columbia River. Fish for salmon, steelhead and sturgeon or hunt duck and geese. Take a day trip to Astoria or Longbeach. There's really something for everyone here.

"Fairview" of the Columbia River!

3 bedroom home on 2.5 acres overlooking the lower Columbia River. Main floor includes master suite with 2 queen beds, 2nd bedroom with 1 queen bed. Downstairs daylight basement includes 1 queen, 2 twins. All rooms have a view of the Columbia River! We are 9 miles off Hwy 4 in Wahkiakum county. Definitely out in the country! Guests often enjoy seeing deer and bald eagles flying by. The last couple of miles are pretty winding, but the view at the end is worth it!

Vacation Apt. Walk to River and Vista Park.

Our 322 sq ft. vacation rental apartment is next door to, but separate from our two room Twin Gables Inn on Skamokawa Creek. Best for two, but sleeps four in a pinch (Wall bed in living room). The apartment does not face the creek, but it is 30 feet from the back door to the water's edge. 5 steps up to the apartment. Breakfast available at inn. Small dog with prior permission only. Dog-friendly park, wildlife refuge and Fairgrounds nearby.

Valhalla Cabin, a cabin with a view.

Our cabin is on a quiet country road. While nestled in the trees, the cabin sits on a bluff and offers amazing views of the Columbia. It is 45 min. from Astoria, and 60 min. from Long Beach. Sit on the porch and watch river traffic, eagles and deer. Build a fire, in the fireplace, or the firepit. play games or read. Relax on the porch with a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning view of the river and the wildlife.

Carriage House at The Grove

Enjoy a quiet island stay surrounded by a forest grove. It is the only canopied forest of its kind on the island, and attracts lots of wildlife, like deer, beaver, and especially owls. It’s a bird lover’s favorite. The house has an old-fashioned claw-foot tub with endless hot water. We stock the kitchen with a morning’s continental breakfast of often homemade items.
