The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Elf's Cottage

The apartment is new, but built in a classic old faroese house. It is small, but very cozy and practical. There is a living room with a kitchen, dining table, TV, a washer/dryer combo machine and a bed. And a bathroom with a shower. The house is located in the cozy and peaceful village of Vatnsoyrar. Close by the airport. Nice view over the Lake, and very nice view of the sunset. It is close to many attractions on the island like Sørvágsvatn, Bøsdalafossur, Trælanípan, Fjallavatn and many more

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, LPH features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and oak wooden flooring. Ruby Stova

The house is completely renovated. we have our goose walking right outside the house. The airport is within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. 5 minutes walking distance to our local grocery store. About 15 min walking distance to the ferry Jósup to Mykines. There are 2 bedrooms with each dobbel bed. There are good view from the house Its very beautyfull to see the airplane so close. Its easy to come to the house, it’s only one step up to the front door.

Turf cottage by breathtaking Múlafossur waterfall

Lundi Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Authentic Faroese cottage from 1893 with turf roof, warm wooden interiors and fjord surroundings. Located in Norðskáli, it is a central base for exploring the Faroe Islands by car. Lejligheden er renoveret og bliver opvarmet med Grøn Energi (luft til vand) og har en meget god udsigt, med mulighed at bruge en stor terasse, der man har udsigt til fire øer, lejligheden ligger centralt imellem lufthavnen ogThorshavn, har god gåafstand til Trælanýpa og Trøllkonufingur. Gásadalur/Múlafossur ligger på øen og ruteforbindelse til Mýkines. Der er gode muligheder for parkering.

It is located in the charming village of Leynar, a central base to explore much of the Faroe Islands. The accommodation only 25 KM (16 Miles) from both the airport and the capital.
