One of Irelands most westerly houses, an abundance of views and walks on the door step.

This recently renovated traditional solid stone farmhouse 1865 is a perfect location to enjoy a relaxing stay, located 3 miles outside Cahersiveen, off the main Ring of Kerry road. A great base for discovering Valentia Island, Skellig Rocks, Numerous Beaches & Golf Courses. Located within the Dark Sky Reserve, the Farmhouse has 3 Large Roof Windows, so star gazing can be done while relaxing indoors!! Ideal location for walkers with the Beentee loop walk and Cnoc na dTobar pilgrim path close by.

Private lawn that leads down to the sea shore where seals can be seen on a daily basis bathing on the rocks on low tide. The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings. The house is a great base to explore the wonderful Gems that Co.Kerry has to offer. The house is a 10 min drive from Killorglin, 20 mins from Killarney and 1 hour drive from Dingle & Kenmare.

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!
