A picturesque stroll through Slade Gardens, awarded the Best Walking Spot in 2019 on the South Wales Coast by Country Living, you find yourself at a sandy beach perfect for a quick dip before breakfast! Enjoy coastal beach walks surfing swimming and cycling. We are 15 minutes from J35 on the M4 Motorway.

Peaceful Hayloft near the sea

Situated the picturesque village of Gileston in the grounds of the 400 year old Grade II listed thatched cottage, Rose Cottage. The property is 10 minutes walk away from the beautiful Glamorgan Heritage coast and the Welsh Coastal path. There are loads of beautiful walks nearby aswell as two pubs (15 minute walk) and a large co-op (10 minute walk). Wedding venue Gileston Manor is a 1 minute walk away. Great access to Cardiff Airport, Cardiff Stadium, the Principality Stadium and the city centre.

Noddfa (refuge/sanctuary) offgrid woodland retreat

Noddfa was built in the summer of 2020 initially as a writer's retreat for the owner. It is located in a magical spot deep in the 60 acres of private woodland belonging to Coed Hills Rural Artspace, a low impact community of friendly, artistically-inclined, wonderful people - 14 of which live scattered about the site in their own hand-built dwellings. Noddfa is very much the owners personal space with lots of evidence of his life and interests. It offers comfortable off-grid peace and seclusion.

Warm & welcoming studio

Just ten minutes drive from Cardiff centre. Self-contained and tucked away, once inside the studio you would never know you're in the heart of Birchgrove, Cardiff, with a great range of facilities and buses just a minute’s walk away. The studio has a shower room and well-equipped kitchenette. With a double bed & sofa bed, the studio can sleep four people, plus a travel cot & high chair. Wifi, Netflix & Amazon TV are provided. The studio has a wood burner, central heating & shared patio.

Heated Shepherd’s Hut with private hot tub

The Shepherd’s hut and art room are close to the river. There are four self catering accommodations within the grounds each has access to their own hot tubs. The Shepherd’s hut has a shower and toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns and a heater. Sole use of the Art room is included and has full cooking facilities, a fridge, a wood burning stove, table and sofa. It is an ideal escape for a romantic weekend. The garden is festooned with fairy lights and who are invited to feed the alpacas.

"Y Sied"-quiet, quirky, seaside retreat.

"Y Sied" is an attractive self contained unit ideal for one or two guests (super king size bed or two single beds) with ensuite bathroom. Located at the bottom of the garden, it has its own private entrance and decking area. Ample parking. Situated in the picturesque Knap area of Barry, it's very close to beaches, parks, lake, coastal path and Barry Island - the perfect location for exploring the area, chilling out or working from home. In fact the ideal seaside retreat.

Cosy studio

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

Croeso i Cymru! Welcome to Wales! Beautiful querky uniquely furnished garden 'Pod' in St Athan old Village. Lovely part of the countryside, quiet, calm and relaxing. We allow a small dog, guests need to inform hosts of their intention to bring their pet with them, as there are certain rules/guidelines. Please see our other listing next door to The Pod, ‘Suite 1’ sleeps 2, ideal for friends/2 couples taking a break together. Private use of garden gym.

Located within the grounds of Pandy Farm, the Shepherds Hut is an ideal place to relax. It comes with all the modern comforts and a Hot Tub, BBQ and Garden furniture. Ideal place to unwind. There is also an option if you are an Avid Rider to bring along your horses*Subject to Charge and Availability of Stables. Plenty of areas to walk and take in the local area, Merthyr Mawr is a place to visit. Local pubs, shops and restaurants a short walk or drive.

The Lakeside Lodge

Our outhouse at the back of our garden has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, modern studio apartment. With underfloor heating, large sofa's & kitchen /breakfast area it has everything you want for a short or long stay! Separate entrance also makes it private so you can come and go as you wish.
