The cabin has things you'd expect like a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and little extra surprises like in floor heat and a fireplace. Conveniently located within walking distance to groceries, gas, the small boat harbor, museums, shops, and restaurants. If you have questions about the cabin or Valdez, feel free to ask!

We are far enough from town to be surrounded by nature with frequent moose visits & exceptional northern lights, while still fairly close to restaurants and shopping (30 min). Some great local activities are heli rides, snowmachine expeditions, hiking and much more!

Come stay in our Alaskan tiny home with a big view! Coffee & tea are provided as well as a homemade breakfast when we are also home. Located close to Wrangell-St.Elias National Park and Valdez. Great location for skiing/hiking Thompson pass or cross country skiing/hiking trails around the property. Handmade log furniture and Alaska themed books and treasures we have collected throughout the years are in the tiny home for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly and have a German shepherd mix.

Only 2 miles off highway,good road right up to door. Has 2 small decks.relaxing scenery, due to remodeling private fire pit not available You can get your exercise walking to the lake. Dock. We have loons, eagles, and some other Wildlife. On 17 mile lake. Has trout, so bring a pole. Great couple getaway. Questions just ask.

Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees with gorgeous views of the mountains, 1/2 mile from Kings River access and 31 miles from the Matanuska Glacier Park. Our cabin is located just off the North Glenn Highway 62 miles from Anchorage, Alaska and 15 miles from Palmer, Alaska.

The Johnson House Cabin

A comfortable, cozy, private and secluded cabin for up to two guests. Our cabin is overlooking the Knik River Valley and Knik Glacier and offers spectacular views. The cabin is located a moderate 250 step hike from our parking area including two outdoor sets of steps so, self check-in is not an option.
