Our newly renovated house, furnished with all brand-new furniture, is located very close to UVA. It is one mile from UVA's main grounds and the John Paul Jones Arena. The house offers ample space for large groups and features many amenities to make your stay memorable, including an espresso machine, a PlayStation 5, Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video, ESPN+, and other TV channels, as well as a foosball table. Additionally, the house is well equipped for families with children and babies.

Woodwind Cottage is a brand new, beautifully built cottage with living room, bedroom, bath, kitchen and loft. It has charming architectural details and a covered porch for enjoying the view of the woods. The loft has a fold out sofa for an extra guest or private work space. Our place is a newly constructed barn loft in our 1960's barn. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from large windows and a private balcony. The barn is surrounded by our horse pastures and neighboring fields. Self check in with the key lockbox. This loft is separate from the main house where we live. Private parking and entrance for our guests directly outside of barn loft (this is separate from the main house driveway).

Walk to the downtown pedestrian mall, Belmont neighborhood and restaurants, and wooded trail along the river from our two-bedroom basement guest suite with a full bath and living area. Built in the 1940s and fully renovated in fall 2017, the home retains original character while boasting modern amenities, comfort, and cleanliness. We live upstairs with two dogs. NO SMOKERS OR SMOKING, PLEASE.

It is minutes to historic downtown Charlottesville and UVA. Wineries are also easy to get to. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet and privacy.
