Welcome to Turangi Treasure located on the riverside of Turangi, just a very short walk from the Tongariro River and all it has to offer. Relax in this comfortable home after a day on the mountain, river or lake. In winter the wood fire welcomes you after exploring one of the many natural features of the area. Whether you’re a solo traveller or part of a group, you’ll appreciate the 5 star experience, comfort and location. It offers the security of being fully fenced with off-street parking.

Norfolk House

Escape the city and relax in this Hampton style hideaway. Sip your morning coffee as the mist clears over the lake. This house sits on a quiet 3000 square meters corner sight, with extensive views of Lake Taupo. Hidden from the road, and out of view from the neighbours, it is the perfect retreat and base for your next Taupo adventure. Sunsets are Spectacular, and best viewed from the undercover outside terrace, or while sitting in the Alpine Spa. On a colder evening inside next to the fire.

Lake Taupo Water View Tongariro & Whakapapa Skiing

This treetops lakeview retreat is located on the South Western side of Lake Taupo. Tongariro Crossing, Mt Ruapehu Skifield, Turangi Adventure Tourism, hotpools, great bush walks and trout fishing are all within close proximity. Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. At night, why not barbecue with drinks on the deck or in the winter, enjoy the ambience of the warm fire!

VIDA; clean, comfy, pet friendly, no cleaning fee

Vida is a fully refurbished, stand-alone house with modern furnishings and high-quality features. Located in central Turangi, tucked away in a quiet commercial area. It is fully fenced for your dog to join you. Two-minute drive to cafes, supermarket and town. There is ample room for your boat/jet ski if you're heading out fishing on the lake. Turangi is an adventurer's paradise year round and many complete the Tongarario Alpine Crossing as it’s about the closest accommodation you will find.

Tongariro River House

Tastefully renovated fully equipt house and new sleepout. Fully insulated with double glazed windows. Large bathroom, gas hot water and large kitchen/dining/family room opening onto a large deck for alfresco living. Warm and cosy in winter (heatpump), shade in summer with large flat section of lawn, garden and trees. Very close to river within walking distance across the bridge to Turangi shops. Carport attached to house for dry access. Quiet street adjacent to the Tongariro River and park

Lochwood Ski and Summer Cottage

Lochwood is a light, spacious and warm retreat. Scandi, homely decor. A home-away-from home with a well-equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and tea and coffee facilities. A reserve and playground are across the road with a tennis court and basketball hoop 2 minutes walk away. The Motuoapa Marina and Liquorice cafe are nearby. Excellent access to Lake Taupo, Tongariro crossing, Whakapapa skifield, Tongariro River track and bike tracks, the western bays, thermal pools and Lake Rotopounamu.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Nestled amongst mature trees and gardens our beautiful home bursts warmth and character. Located across the road from the world famous Tongariro River makes this the ideal location for outdoor adventures including fly-fishing, bike rides & skiing. In the winter relax by the fire, or when the weather is warmer, enjoy the spacious and private section for al fresco living - with decking at both the front and rear you can enjoy your morning coffee, and enjoy a game of Pétanque or Corn Hole.

Kōwhai Hideaway - cheerful, secluded and cosy.

Your perfect base for the Tongariro Crossing, Kōwhai Hideaway is in a convenient location near the Tongariro River. Double glazed and with upgraded insulation, Kōwhai Hideaway has a well equipped kitchenette, brand new air conditioning, comfortable beds and a pleasant garden outlook. Tranquility is supreme. There’s plenty of off street parking in this quiet street. Kōwhai Hideaway is a ground floor apartment underneath Piwakawaka Lodge. They can be rented together for large groups.

Welcome to the ‘Grumpy Trout Lodge’! Your cosy, modern home away from home on State Highway One, 5 minutes driving distance South of Turangi where you will find all amenities, cafes and restaurants. This is a high quality accommodation specifically built for your ultimate comfort and experience. Choose your activity! We are in the midst of it. "The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Trout Retreat - River, lake, mountain

A sunny warm fully furnished 4 bedroom house with an outlook to bush covered hills and Mt Pihanga. A very large living area that has open plan lounge, dining and kitchen, all brand new lounge furniture. A woodburner with plenty of dry firewood and an deck to enjoy the outdoors. A heat pump for air conditioning in the summer and instant heat in the winter. Less than five minutes drive away from shops, restaurants, world famous Tongariro River.
