Steps outside the maritime village of SW Harbor with semi-private ocean access, seaglass beach, dock, firepit, and a short walk to all village amenities: the town pier, local bars, restaurants with live outdoor music overlooking the marina, & a private charter on a wooden Friendship sloop.

Tidal Shores

Relax and take it all in. Thanks to an ever-changing tide the view is constantly changing. From one of two decks, you'll see so much: a working harbor, big exposed rocks, small islands (bring your rain boots to trudge through the clam flats), and plenty of wildlife. At high tide launch your canoe and paddle around the harbor. Or just sit, read a book, and take it all in. A short ride (5-10 minutes) brings you to beautiful hiking trails, delicious food, locally owned boutiques, and so much more.

We are centrally located on MDI - close to ponds, lakes and the Atlantic, hiking in Acadia as well as near coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. This home is the perfect spot for soaking up all our island has to offer.

Evergreen Hill is a cheery cedar cape set up on a private half acre of fir and native blueberry. Just a mile from Acadia trails and beaches, this humble cottage has a peaceful island vibe, relaxing family spaces, a fenced yard, and great front porch, with no dog or cleaning fee. Eat lobster year round, visit Bar Harbor, take the family on a boat ride to see Mount Desert Island's 26 peaks from the water. Come in winter to work and play, hike the snow covered mountains, ice skate and XC ski.

Located on the quiet side of Mount Desert Island and close to Acadia National Park's Bass Harbor Head Light. This brand new unit features an open kitchen and living area, 2 bedrooms, and 2 full baths that sleeps 4 is the perfect location for your Maine getaway! Enjoy casual drinks on the porch or dinner on the patio. Apple Blossom Cottage offers plenty of space to relax and spend time with loved ones close to all the Acadia area has to offer. The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

Bass Harbor upstairs apartment on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island, 5 min from Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Ship Harbor and Wonderland trailheads, Swan's Island Ferry, and Southwest Harbor. One bedroom with queen, loft with 2 twin beds, full bath, kitchen, laundry, dining table, sofa, and TV with wifi connection. Lobster pounds and local restaurants nearby. Echo Lake Beach, Acadia Mt and Flying Mt trailheads are 10 min away. Approximately 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor.

Sunny, charming two story home with views of the Atlantic Ocean from Bass Harbor. The Bass Harbor/Swan Island Ferry is located at the end of our driveway. Bas Harbor is a working harbor so there is always something to watch. Close to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. We have 5G Wifi. Your guest house is completely private with a private entrance.
