Tucked away in the sleepy yet well-connected village of Newbold on Stour, we're perfectly positioned for Theatre trips, Cotswold weekenders and Countryside rambles... Just 15 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, 25 minutes to Daylesford and 35 minutes to Soho Farmhouse, our small yet stylish bolt-hole makes for a great base to explore all that the North Cotswolds has to offer.

Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

The Stables Granby Farm Near Shipston On Stour

Near the pretty village of Honington on the edge of the Cotswolds, about 2 miles from Shipston on Stour which is a gateway to the beauty of the Cotswolds and 9 miles from Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa. The Stables have been recently renovated, underfloor heating, combines contemporary style in a character Barn Converstion on a farm in a rural location offering peace and quiet and overlooks an Italian style garden. Dogs are welcome and can run free in the gardens and fields.

The detached cottage is spotlessly clean, up a long driveway set in 12 acres of fields, a peaceful courtyard, together with a large farmhouse and a two bedroom cottage. Where possible a 2 night stay over a weekend. You arrive and it’s self checkin, and you can relax in the middle of the most beautiful countryside location. We ask you to be respectful of the community that we live, for this is strictly not a party house. It is for total relaxation, walks, fresh air and gatherings.

The Old Manor Cottage is a beautiful Grade 2 listed thatched cottage that dates back to the 17th century and sits peacefully in the large grounds of the owner's manor house. The charming cottage has a lovely cosy feel with many character features, including exposed beams and oak doors. It is surrounded by stunning countryside. William Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford upon Avon is less than 10 miles away. Chipping Campden and Stow on the Wold are both within 20 minutes.

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken. Nestled in a breathtaking village with quintessential Cotswold cottages and rural fields, and centrally located to the top Cotswold sights. The cottage boasts a cosy lounge with log burner, luxurious bedrooms, original exposed beams and walls, and a private garden. Village pub discount included with stay.
