Det er gode forhold for havfiske, stisykkling, og toppturer og observering av nordlys. Lite lysforurensing. Vinterstid er det skiløype rett ved hytten og mange fjelltopper for randone som er innen rekkevidde. Mulighet for leie av båt for fiske av Senja Arctic logde eller Senja Fjordhotell (må bookes seperat).

Hytta ligger ved Storvann Syd, 25 min.kjøretur sør for Harstad.ca 35 min fra Evenes flyplass.Det er to soverom med dobbeltsenger i hovedetasjen og dobbelseng på hemsen. Badet et innredet med Cinderella forbrenningstoalett og Cinderella urinal, dusjkabinett og servant . Det er åpen stue/kjøkkenløsning og på stuen er det TV. Har internett. Det er ikke oppvaskmaskin eller vaskemaskin på hytta. Det er egen parkeringsplass. Hytten leies ut i sommerhalvåret,

Our three cozy log cabins „Helge Ingstad Hytte“, „Eivind Astrup Hytte” and "Wanny Woldstad Hytte" are all to rent on Airbnb.

The cabin is fully equipped with everything you will need and the bathroom is spacious with water closet and large shower. Det kan nesten ikke beskrives - det må oppleves. Du bor på yttersida av eventyrøya Senja. Du kommer ikke nærmere naturen - med en glassfasade på nærmere 30 kvm har du følelsen av å sitte ute mens du sitter inne. Om det er midtnattsol eller nordlys - det blir aldri kjedelig å se på havet, fjellene og dyrelivet langs Bergsfjorden. Hytta var ferdig høsten 2018 og har høy standard.
