ISLE be BACK, Seaview and beach on your doorstep

Our Island house is located 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I help with the admin of his holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.

Mackay House, Isle of Lewis

MacKay House is situated 7 miles from Stornoway on the east coast of the Island in the village of Coll. While enjoying the rural location it is only a 15 minute drive to the town centre which has shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The house, a former crofting house, has recently been refurbished to a high standard to cater for the modern day visitor to this scenic and stunning island. Fisherman's Cottage

Welcome to fisherman's cottage: a calm space great for families or couples. A former cow byre built in 1850, the cottage is tucked down a lane out of the worst of the winter storms. So whilst the cottage doesn’t have sea views, it overlooks our little woodland nature garden. Just five minutes from Stornaway ferry terminal and bus station, and under ten minutes by car from the airport, this cosy cottage is a great base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

Glamping Pod, Guershader, Isle of Lewis

Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over.
