Rustigue is a play of words: ‘rustig’ is Dutch for tranquil; the style of the cottage is ‘rustic’ with a combination of all things to love: old, new, done up. The cottage is surrounded by rimu trees, native bush and ferns. It is well away from the main house and has its own driveway, so you have total privacy. The cabin provides all the necessities for a night or 2 away where you can explore the surrounding area. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind.
