Our self contained apartment offers unique semi rural accommodation with amazing mountain views suited for tourists & travelers to enjoy all our region offers. Relax in the living area with comfortable lounging, dining table with full kitchen incl. dishwasher. Indulge yourself in a luxury queen size bed. A second bedroom offers a king single. A sofa bed is available if needed. A continental breakfast is provided. Cooked breakfast available weekends $15 per person. Laundry $10 wash & dry

The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

The Shelter

With wooden interior and carpeted floors with free standing fireplace, our accomodation is both spacious yet cosy. The master bedroom has a cabin feel to it with a comfy bed and views out onto farmland. The Loft is a spacious cosy area with low ceilings which the teenagers will love but tall people may not enjoy it as it's only about 1.75 cm at the highest point . large couches for watching netflix or relaxing on the deck. we are not set up for young children and think it's best suited to 8+ age

Cottage 51

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Take a stroll around the park like gardens which can be accessed via steps to the left of the cottage or go for a fifteen minute walk to the town centre & enjoy breakfast at one of our local restaurants. If you prefer to cook your own breakfast, supplies can be had from the Woolworths supermarket just ten minutes walk away. After a relaxing start to your day you'll be ready to explore the sights & sounds the taranaki region has to offer. Welcome.

Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Brand new 3-Bedroom house with off-street parking at the end of a cul-de-sac. Central location close to river walkways, speedway, hockey turf, swimming pool and supermarket. Separate toilet and bathroom with bath and shower. All three bedrooms have double or queen sized beds and the third bedroom is also set up as a workspace. There are also floor mattresses for kids. Stratford is 40 minutes from New Plymouth and 30 minutes from Hawera. It is the closest town to Taranaki Maunga.
