Ashdown Cottage, two bedroom cottage

The accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen-diner, cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Close by is a quiet sitting area with a lock up shed for bikes etc. The large bedroom is spacious with a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured as a single or twin. A cot can be provided on request. bed linen and towels are provided and heating and electric costs are included in the rental charge. Sorry no pets. The Annexe is a cosy 1 bedroom residence, attached to our home with its own entrance and car parking space by your front door ! Set in the picturesque village of Litton, and the Peak District National Park. The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop. Tideswell 0.6 miles away has many eateries. Beautiful walks & cycling await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. *Please note - bathroom refurbishment (completed 1st March 2026) The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but no longer a separate shower.

Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.
