The property is tucked away in the heart of the historic district, walkable to downtown restaurants, sites, and the river. Take a leisurely walk around town or rent a bicycle and explore this beautiful city in the lovely Southern weather. We are walking distance to the famous Forsyth Park and River Street! We highly recommend walking around town or renting a bicycle in order to fully appreciate this beautiful city and our lovely Southern weather! If you prefer, Savannah now offers Uber, and there are always plenty of taxis and pedicabs available as well! If you choose to bring your own vehicle, please note that the street parking is typically readily available, but please be mindful of the areas that have meters and the posted sweep zone times! PLEASE be mindful of the half step at the top of the spiral staircase! We love the historic feature, but hate that half step, so please, be very careful!

Our place is located on beautiful Wilmington Island, half way from Downtown and Tybee Island a GREAT LOCATION. The views are amazing marsh, creek, and Johnny Mercer Bridge. We are very close to local restaurants, arts culture, parks. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with children bring or rent your equipment P&P, gates ECT). Owners lives on site apt. attached. This is a cottage/bungalow the ceilings are a little lower than normal.

The Houseboat on Tybee Island

Located at the Tybee Island Marina on Lazaretto Creek, along the western boundary of Tybee Island, The Houseboat offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views nestled in a serene spot between the beach on Tybee or a day exploring Savannah. Due to its location on a floating dock in a tidal creek, with low tides making for a difficult/steep transition between the floating and stationary docks, The Houseboat is not ideal for guests with mobility issues.
