With a private gate to the beach, Spinney’s Boathouse is perched beside the sea in the magical village of Thorpeness, next to the main house. Groups of up to six guests are welcome to stay here and indulge in all that this fantastic holiday destination has to offer. Thorpeness is home to a heathland Golf course and Country Club. During the warmer months there’s boating and kayaking on The Meare and the village is home to The Dolphin Inn, The Kitchen and a popular café next to the Meare.

The garden is large and you can explore the 60-acre Meare on the rowing boat from our private jetty.

Enjoy walks along the beach or easy access to the marsh and the beautiful river Alde embankment.
