From mid August untill late April you can see the northern lights in the afternoon or night. Ideal location for travellers to experience the wonders of the North-East. Lake Mývatn only 30 km away, 13 km to the waterfall Goðafoss. Less than 100 km to Dettifoss waterfall and Ásbyrgi. 39 km to the whale museum and whale watching in Húsavík.

Birkifell Laugar

One storey family house in the country side in north eastern Iceland. We are renting out the whole house which includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms and a good porch in front of the house. Some good hiking routes are in the area. There is a swimming pool, grocery store, bank and a restaurant nearby. Our location is great for visiting lake Mývatn, Goðafoss, Dettifoss, Ásbyrgi and Húsavík as we are located on the great attraction circle in the northeast Iceland.

Superb location in north Iceland between Godafoss and Lake Myvatn. Close to Husavík. It's very peaceful and exclusive villa in the nature with an amazing view, no traffic or disturbance. 1.8 km away from the main road. The property consists of few buildings. Main house with two bedrooms, a living room and big kitchen. A garden house and a small technical cottage along with a sauna. Built in 2023 and we are still working on the landscape.

Copenhagen is the only room in the house with private bathroom. One queen bed, one bunk bead and a extra fold out bed for the big family or group of friends. In the bathroom is a shower. We have also two other sheared bathrooms accessable for our guests. Sheared kitchen are on second floor and the hot tub just outside the shared kitchen.
