Lavender & Rust cottage

Lavender & Rust is a lovely self-catering house for 4 people with an old-world charm in Clarens. A minimum of two guests,no children under 8years. The double-storey house comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a cosy lounge. For comfort on colder days electric blankets, and heaters are provided in the bedrooms. Guests can relax in front of the cosy fireplace, and Wi-Fi access is available. The living area opens onto a stoep, and a Weber braai, as well as secure parking, is provided.

Cozy Mountain Cottage on Historic Farm

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Close to the village centre but far enough away to experience the tranquility of its mountain hideaway. Luxury percale linen and soft towels are provided. Heating is in each bedroom for winter nights. The open plan living area has everything you need for a home away from home holiday. A little fireplace makes for cozy winter nights and outside areas are ideal for summer evenings.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our farm cottage is situated on the Drakensberg escarpment overlooking the valleys of Van Reenen’s Pass. This farm stay 4 sleeper unit is fully equipped with all you will need to live, work or get happy. Hiking, fishing, strolling, swimming, bike riding and hanging out on the farm is what we offer. We are load shedding resistant with WiFi during the shedding but we have lovely candles and fireplaces for your entertainment… Bring a book, a journal or an easel and come and enjoy.

Beth and I left an international corporate lifestyle in 2016 to farm on our 300 hectare farm in the eastern Freestate.Jacobrust farm is a working farm in the foothills of the Clarens sandstone of the Maluti mountains .We farm with olives and plains game. Traditional farm animals include sheep,chickens,ducks,turkeys and our free roaming pot belly pig Charlotte. We live environmentally friendly early to bed early to rise lives .
