Nestled amongst huge cedars in an artist’s garden and just half a block from the Ocean, Cedar Grove Cottage is a wonderful space for romance and rejuvenation. The Cottage is a beautiful tiny house built by a Tibetan architect, with a loft bed, pullout sofa, and kitchenette, private deck, propane griddle, outdoor counter and sink, and outdoor shower. The recently added post and beam bathhouse features an enormous antique claw foot tub, in-floor heating and a large walk-in shower.

We are seconds from the beach and 10 minutes from the town of Comox, and 30 minutes from Mt. Washington. Kye Bay is a beautiful beach for long walks along the sandy tidal shoreline, with abundant bird and marine life to keep you company.

Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

Come and experience this very private original/rustic (never been touched in over 70 years) cottage sitting on a rock promenade with gentle sloping ramp access to the historic Halfmoon Bay beach. (It's all yours, walk kilometers in either direction). Situated on the southern shore of Halfmoon Bay protected from wind, the setting enjoys the full benefits of a western exposure with unbelievable sunset views, swimming, boating, etc.

Private, rustic, waterfront retreat at the bottom of a winding trail, set amongst the trees on the Salish Sea. This cozy and ultra comfortable beach house is within day-trip distance to all Vancouver Island has to offer. It provides an intimate, restful, and well-furnished retreat for two people in the loft overlooking the beach, with an additional sofa-bed in the common space. Wildlife, stars, and unbelievable moonrises and sunrises!

Enjoy full privacy in the well-stocked cottage while enjoying the tranquility of rural life close to town. The cottage is 4 minutes away from a major grocery store and Oceanside Arena. We are very close to the famous Parksville beaches and the highway to Tofino.

Pender Harbour Rainforest Retreat

We offer 1165 sqft of air-conditioned space – two queen bedrooms with crisp linens, one beautiful bathroom with tub and walk-in shower, and plenty of space to relax. Modern washer, dryer, fridge, cooker and dishwasher. You’ll have a private covered deck with outdoor seating and dining areas, as well as use of a 6-person hot tub. There are kayaks and a canoe you can use, tide permitting. 50 amp fast EV charger, RV charger.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
