At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.

Our cabin is absolutely private. It offers a serene and comfortable escape from city life. Here you can relax, read a book, enjoy the sounds of nature or explore what the mountain has to offer. Try some of the great local food & cuisine. Visit the local wineries. Picnic and watch the sunset over mountain views, check out the national parks for some great walks & rainforest trails and create lasting memories as you toast marshmallows and enjoy the flickering flames of the firepit.

One of 2 exceptional holiday houses in Lamington National Park. Sleeps up to 4 adults in two bedrooms each with en suite plus 2 children in a "kids' loft". (Note: kids love the loft but it is not recommended for adults) Groups of more than 4 can hire the adjacent East House as well. Bookings are accepted for children 4 years and over. The house and grounds are not suitable for younger children, toddlers or babies.
