Fully furnished house on the banks of the New River. House is located within easy driving distance to WinterPlace Ski Resort,The Greenbrier, Lewisburg and within New River Gorge National Park! Trout stream within walking distance and 90,000 acres of public land all around for exploring. Guided fishing trips available on site. Public boat access is beside the house so bring your own boat or kayaks. Kayak rentals available nearby. Large back deck overlooks the river with grill and firepit.

The Black Bear, log cabin with cathedral ceilings

Set in a 10 acre wooden area right next to Pipestem state park, full log cabin with cathedral ceilings and loft room. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, bathed in light, Jacuzzi tub in one bathroom, central air and heat, fully equipped kitchen, authentic log furniture. A stone fireplace with a pellet stove makes for cozy winters and above the fireplace. The house offers easy access for those with moderate mobility problems, as we installed a gently sloping ramp between the parking lot and the front door.

This is a great place to get away from it all. Cabin is within minutes of two lakes, three rivers, beautiful waterfalls, great fishing, hiking, golf courses, horseback riding, kayaking, zip lines, and nature trails. We're open year-round!
