Redesigned by a local artist & architect, this luxe and cozy home sits at the end of a quiet road, bordering a state park surrounded by native forest. Unwind in your own private bathhouse & sauna along the creek after hiking/biking on Galbraith trails or exploring Bellingham. The fully equipped house includes a chef’s kitchen, high-end finishes, local art, and a blend of modern/vintage charm, making for a truly memorable stay.

Thompson Cabin- Lake Front

Come stay at our newly remodeled family lake cabin located on Cain Lake. Extra love was put into this place as it has been passed down the generations. Open concept from the kitchen to the dining room into the living room overlooking the lake. Extra family room perfect for game night. Venture outside to the large deck surrounded by bliss. Take it all in down at the large dock with views of the rest of the lake. This cabin is not perfect but is dear to our heart so please treat it like your own.

Forested Getaway - Hot Tub, Hike, Bike and Lake

The Forested Getaway is in Sudden Valley, a lakeside "village" nestled in the forests of Lake Whatcom. Grab your hiking shoes or mountain bike and hop on the trail right behind the rental, which also connects to Galbraith, a nationally recognized mntn biking venue. After, slide into the hot tub, or relax by the fire pit. Take the kids to the playground, the lake, or the pup to the dog park! Don't forget shopping or a visit to the many breweries in town! Did we mention the Taylor Shellfish??

Forget your cares in this spacious, serene, meticulously clean home with unbeatable lake views from every room! Escape the city and enjoy our spacious 3200 sqft home in picturesque Sudden Valley. Create memories in our light-filled, open-concept living room and kitchen with/ french doors leading to outdoor seating and views of the forest. Watch a movie in our "theater room" with 85" TV and reclining sectional or have a game night in the garage complete with ping-pong, darts, and board games. Spread out over three floors, this is a great home to share with friends and family. No events or parties please.

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

Cozy Fawn Retreat

Nestled in the trees off Galbraith Mountain from Sudden Valley this cozy retreat can be your basecamp to explore the wonderful PNW.
