Peaceful country cottage with gorgeous views

A peaceful, rural location in a beautiful area surrounded by farmland. The accommodation is a self-contained private annexe attached to our home with an entrance exclusively for guests’ use. Two bedrooms with double beds, bath/shower room plus kitchenette/diner with access and views over our flower garden. Basic breakfast included. Superfast Wifi. Excellent walking/cycling from the house. Well placed for visits to Cotswold villages, Bath, Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham by car or by train.

Ashley Barn

The well appointed annexe apartment has its own entrance, parking outside and is self contained with king size bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette (please read below) and bathroom with a bath and separate shower. With glorious views across the fields to see horses, sheep and cattle grazing in the fields beyond. This annexe is quiet, comfortable and secluded, with tea and coffee provisions provided. Quiet garden flat above double garage with its own entrance. En-suite shower. TV, WiFi, larder fridge, microwave, double bed in small village with good public transport connections. Village on the Cotswold Way trail, 2.5 miles to J13 of the M5 motorway. Outside space includes bench seat, bistro set, parasol and wood burner. Use of the Summerhouse - 2nd key on key ring. Parking is to the front of the property, if this is limited then there is a free car park in the village 300m away.

Ideal to - walk the Cotswold Way, Laurie Lee trail in Slad Valley and many circular walks with pubs en route. Visit Cheltenham races, the popular Stroud Farmers Market and Five Valleys shopping centre. Discover the picturesque canal and cycle trail. Enjoy a pint in the Woolpack at Slad, an ice cream on Minchinhampton Common. Visit - Forest of Dean, Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswold Water Park, Brecon Beacons. A self contained annexe on a working small holding which has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is overlooking the unique village of Sheepscombe with fantastic panoramic views over the village and surrounding National Trust beechwoods. This rural retreat is a walkers paradise, dog friendly with close access into the woods behind and near to the Laurie Lee way in the Slad Valley. Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester are a short drive away. An idyllic quiet get away.

Frogmarsh Annexe

A very modern and comfortable annexe, set in the historic village of Woodchester, just outside the capital of the Cotswolds. Frogmarsh Annexe is a self contained annexe which has a generous size bedroom with double bed with storage, a hanging rail. A lounge area with small sofa and wall mounted tv, Kitchenette with fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer, Tea, coffee,sugar, butter, jams and milk. Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Off road parking. Own access to annexe.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

Charming self-contained studio flat in the Cotswold village of Shipton Moyne. The private room is built into the 17th century farmhouse and features original oak beams and a log burner. The Studio is perfect for weekend getaways with amazing local places like Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove Gardens and the historic town of Tetbury. The village has a lovely pub 200 yards down the road and amazing routes to walk without having to drive anywhere.

After parking in the secure private drive, you access your accommodation through French doors via your private patio. There is no access to the main house or kitchen facilities but you have tea/coffee and many cafes and restaurants nearby. A further room, sleeping up to 3 persons is also available on Air BnB. No shared spaces. 1 hr from Diddly Squat!

We are close to Stroud, Painswick and Gloucester with Cheltenham less than 30 minutes by car. The Snug is great for walkers looking for self contained accommodation on the Cotswold Way, couples wanting a relaxing country break or a place to use as a home away from home if you're working locally.
