Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Løðupakkhúsið - Historical Warehouse - Top Floor

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, LPH features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and oak wooden flooring. Lovely little cottage in a quiet environment, while still only a 25 min walk to the city center of Tórshavn. Free busses drive to the center and the stop is only a 8 min walk away. There are horses, sheep, geese and hens right outside. P.S. This place does not have a formal address. The location on the photo by google maps is correct, but the name of the address is not. The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

The house is an traditional faroese house, and was build in 1856. It has been renovated since, but only with the use of old materials. Adress is Undirryggi 7.
