It is on Highway 290 with many wineries just minutes away in both directions. We are also minutes away from the charm of Fredericksburg and the fun of Luckenbach. So come enjoy the Texas Wine Country Base rate is for 2 guests each additional guest is $25 per guest per day up to 6 total guests

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Where Stonewall's first cotton gin once stood, our recently renovated river cabin now stands. Enjoy the wildlife and serene sunsets along the river's banks. Take advantage of the views everyone wished they had. We hope you enjoy the peacefulness our place has to offer during your hill country stay.

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. Spotted Sheep Farms is located on 8 private acres and features two separate properties. The Villa at Spotted Sheep Farms, an Italian style 1,800 square foot home with beautiful finishes and a luxurious huge master suite. The property is home to animals and wild life including alpacas, miniature donkeys, and of course, spotted sheep! It’s perfect for a getaway, relaxing, enjoying some of Texas' best wineries, Fredericksburg shopping and the quiet evening in the hot tub.

Visit the 12 wineries, brewery or two distilleries that are within one and a half miles of Oak Haus. Fredericksburg is just a short drive away.
