Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Groceries are nearby. Close access to Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School of Craft, Smithmore Castle & outdoor activity areas - Linville Gorge, Roan Mountain, Mt Mitchell. Sugar Mountain is 25 miles away.

Meander around the lawn and listen to the birds and babbling brook, or just stroll over the bridge and take a walk along the town’s charming River Walk. “Chapter II” will give you that ‘small town’ feeling—with all the luxury and excitement you crave.

“House in the Woods” a private basement apartment

This is a comfortable & spacious basement apartment that has a living/dining room with a fully stocked kitchen on the ground floor & 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom up a 1/2 flight of stairs. Guests have a separate entrance down a slight incline from parking area. Private patio is perfect to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or just relax. We are unable to accept children under 4. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome for a fee. No cats. Airbnb account holder must be onsite during entire stay.

A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located in the mountains of Spruce Pine, NC. There isn’t a coffee shop on every corner, just a slower pace that we all need. Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

Check out nearby area's open for business, including Black Mountain, Marion, Blowing Rock, Nantahala, and our sweet local Brewery Hillmann!!! Limit one load of laundry per night. FYI, you share the yard with our other guests and our 3 sweet dogs.
