Perfectly suited for two, this charming, newly renovated apartment offers a cozy and well-appointed space for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Multiple park access points are within 2 miles, Bar Harbor and the Park Loop Road are 20 minutes away. Need accommodations for multiple families - 3 townhouses are also available on the property. 3 night minimum stay unless otherwise indicated on the calendar. AC recently added.

The NEST is located in a small community on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. This beautiful, light filled, fully equipped apartment is available year round for guests. We are a 5 minute drive to an Acadia Park entrance, and 20 min drive to Bar Harbor. Close to restaurants, family activities, Echo Lake for swimming, and public transport. Close to restaurants, Echo Lake for swimming, and a 5 minute walk to the Clark Point Town Dock for ferry boat rides to explore the islands! You’ll love my place because of the comfy beds, the high ceilings, the modern kitchen and island. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

This spacious 2 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment has all the amenities of home and is located right in the heart of Southwest Harbor! Walk out the door to many wonderful restaurants, galleries and shopping. We are a short walk to the harbor and marina. Across the street is the stop for Island Explorer bus with free seasonal transportation to all over the island and Acadia National Park. The apartment rents Friday to Friday during July & August. Parking available for 1 vehicle.

There is a small efficiency kitchen and a sunny second floor deck to enjoy the view while having a peaceful breakfast or evening meal. While the property is secluded and private, we do have our own private wooded trail that drops right into town, where you can enjoy Southwest Harbor's restaurants and shops, or catch the free Island Explorer bus.
