Welcome to this fabulous period Barn conversion available for your Summer staycation. Where you can relax in a Hot tub under the stars or light the log burner and curl up on the sofa and just chill. Enjoy the exposed stonework, oak beams and antique furniture you can relax indoors or outdoors on our Moroccan inspired patio. A gas fired BBQ or an open grill plus a fire pit weather permitting dine alfresco after a well-earned soak in the hot tub. On your doorstep several local Pubs will offer genuine local hospitality. Last but not least a great garden for your kids and pets! The Barn at the Old Golden Lion is equidistant between the Jurassic Coast and the beautiful North Devon coast North to South, & again equidistant between Dartmoor and Exmoor East to West making this the perfect location to discover the whole of beautiful Devon. Guests have independent and exclusive access to the barn and full access to the garden. We are a family of four and two dogs (chihuahua and a desert dog we brought over from Dubai) and two cats. The Barn at the Old Golden Lion sits in a quintessential Devon village with a medieval church, a pub, and a village store on your doorstep. The location is equidistant between the Jurassic Coast and the beautiful North Devon coast and between scenic Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are plenty of local walks or let us help you plan day trips to suit your tastes and preferences. Ideal location to enjoy this part of Devon or just relax in the peace and quiet of this rural gem. If you need to fly out we have two Airports close by: Bristol Airport - 56 miles and 65 minutes Exeter Airport - 16 miles and 20 minutes If you prefer to go by Train we also have two choices: Tiverton Parkway 14 minutes London Paddington 2 hrs 10 mins Honiton 20 minutes - London Waterloo 3hrs 5 mins There is a primary school next door in the village, close enough to hear some playground activity from the garden.

A charming 17th century fisherman’s cottage, which is only a 9 minute walk to the beautiful historic harbour village of Boscastle. Located on the North Coast close to Tintagel,Bude, Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, and the secret cove of Crackington Havern Tamarisk Cottage has all the Cornish charm you would expect, open fire place, it’s own secret garden and a Cornish cream tea to welcome you after your long drive. We have WiFi and Netflix for the day’s where you want to snuggle by the open fire.

Perry Pear Cottage is a conversion of an outbuilding “where the cider mill donkey once lived” in the Forest of Dean. Cosy wood burner & relaxing countryside views from every window. Alpacas. Detached cottage , clean & comfortable private escape for you to unwind & enjoy the views over an old perry pear orchard/field managed for wildlife & grazed by our pet alpacas. Neighbourhood of similar smallholdings & valley farmland with direct access to beautiful forest walks. Perfect for stargazing.

Dyffryn Conin is a working farm and is well placed to explore the delights that Pembrokeshire has to offer. In the heart of the countryside, yet conveniently located near Narberth and Tenby, and only 7 miles from the splendid Preseli Hills, with its miles of walks and amazing views. Just a 20 minute drive and you are at wonderful sandy beaches and stunning coastal path walks – ideal for the family dog too! Plenty of parking & EV charger. It's bright, modern and spacious with a king sized bed that can become 2 singles. There is a small kitchen area in the same room, a table, armchair, TV, space for working and a separate wet room with pull down shower chair. The appartment has it's own front door with lock lowered. Host has basic BSL. Free parking.
