‘The Rustic Cabin’ was built in the late 60’s as a weekend getaway. Located a 15 minute drive from Sechelt, the Welcome Woods cabin maintains much of the eclectic building style common on the Coast in that era. Most similar dwellings are long gone. It’s a perfect location with Sargeant Bay, Fullerton Beach and Welcome Woods Market, all within a 15 minute walk or short drive. Across the street are kilometres of hiking, and biking trails. Our family has enjoyed the quiet area since 2007.

Our licensed ocean view suite (built in 2022) is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast in West Sechelt. It’s a 5 min drive (20 min walk) into town with the bus stop 2 mins from the front door. Kick back and relax on the spacious patio where you can enjoy our gas fire bowl, Weber BBQ and backyard after a day of exploring. Our private one bedroom suite comes with a queen size bed, queen size pull out couch, smart 50” tv, high speed fibre optic internet and air conditioning.

Located only a 2-minute walk from one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast. This dog friendly tiny home has two open concept loft bedrooms with a queen size beds in each. This space is the perfect romantic getaway for two, peaceful remote work place or a fun filled holiday for 4 close friends. (It's all yours, walk kilometers in either direction). Situated on the southern shore of Halfmoon Bay protected from wind, the setting enjoys the full benefits of a western exposure with unbelievable sunset views, swimming, boating, etc.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
