Proudly presenting The Lakeside Shanty—a remodeled 1960s cabin offering the perfect escape. Start the mornings with coffee and a book on the screened-in porch, spend afternoons paddling across the lake, fire up the BBQ grill for a lakeside meal, and end the day roasting marshmallows by the fire pit under the stars. Ruby's Roost is a 480 square foot English style cottage built in 2025 and listed for 1 or 2 adults only. PLEASE NOTE: This home is not suitable for children. We have chosen furniture & art to make your trip comfortable and beautiful. Our cottage is minutes away from lakes, rivers, creeks, and is centrally located to annual festivals, including Rocklahoma & Born & Raised. Our small town includes many wonders. One is the Rural Oklahoma museum of Poetry. We’re just 30 miles from famous Route 66.

This county living themed 2-bedroom retreat features a queen size bed in bedroom 1, a plush queen bed loft and a cozy living room with a futon perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower to start the day off right and a fire pit to end the night relaxing. This cabin is located on a 250 acre high fence adventure ranch with over 30 different species of wildlife to enjoy!

Off the beaten path, approximately 1 mile down a bumpy dirty road you will find a hidden gem. At the edge of the Ozarks in the heart of green country is a small cottage located on a beautiful one acre spring feed pond. You can see the spring gushing out of the hillside. Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. Paddle boat, 4 paddle boards and 2 kayaks included

Bigfoot Inn -cabin with loft -near Illinois River

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

Picture this..You laying on the loungers, glass of chilled wine, a page turner of a book watching the occasional kayaker through the bottom of your sunglasses. Perfect right? By evening you have access to sunsets, a fire pit and Marshmallow skewers for the perfect s’more. Inside you’ll find your favorite movie playing on surround sound and plenty of board games and puzzles for a quieter night. I have a hot tub that overlooks the river and bluff views. It is professionally maintained.

The Owl's Nest is equipped with everything you need, from a furnished kitchen with fridge, burner, and microwave, to a large deck with a hot tub, firepit, and comfy chairs. Sip your morning coffee in forest serenity, while birds sing and squirrels play. Bring tick repellent from spring to fall. These are Ozark woods! Property not suitable for babies and small children.

Our Hillside Cabin is a renovated 900 Sq Ft A-Frame rustic cabin overlooking the Needmore Ranch that meanders along the scenic Illinois River. Sitting approximately 1/2 mile from the banks of the river on 400+ acres of private property, this beautiful property is perfect for hiking, fishing, viewing wildlife, or just relaxing around the outdoor firepit. Reconnect with nature, and hike or drive down through our property to access the river or fish from our nearby ponds.
