Beautiful treehouse hut right by the beach

Get away from it all when you stay in our comfortable treehouse hut nestled under a canopy of native Karaka trees with a view of the harbour. Frankies treehouse hut is right next to Scorching Bay - one of Wellingtons best beaches. A perfect escape for nature lovers who want to get back to basics and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: There is no wifi or bathroom in the hut and the communal /shared shower and toilet is a 1 min walk away down the path. NOTE - NO SELF CHECKIN !

Brand new 1 bedroom unit in the ❤️ of Khandallah

Within an easy and flat 5 minute walk from Khandallah Village is our brand new, fully independent and fully equipped 1 bedroom spacious 50m2 unit. Attached on the front of our newly built house, with your own entrance and an off-street car park right outside your door, it doesn't get more convenient! Suitable for up to 4 people, with a Super King bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area (note the sofa bed is only available as a bed for those paying for more than 2 guests).

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Hidden gem - best of two worlds.

An historic cottage in a sheltered dell in the country near Makara Beach, fully restored Te whare iti is 10-15 minutes walk from the rugged Makara coast and roughly 35 minutes from the Wellington CBD. The preserved exterior enfolds very clean, warm and comfortable modern amenities. Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Makara is true NZ countryside with a windy, narrow road to match!.

Modern, bright and spacious studio

This is a clean, bright, modern studio with plenty of space for one or two people. In May 2023 this was double glazed so now much warmer and drier and quieter. It has fibre internet, cooking facilities and a washing machine so you are completely self sufficient here. The tv is set up so as well as free channels you can log into apps like a Netflix, Neon etc. With the train station so close you can be in the city in 14 minutes or there is off street parking if you have your own car.

Just steps from rugged beaches and scenic walks, it’s a 7-minute drive to the airport and 10 minutes to the CBD. Enjoy a comfy bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks. Relax in the tide pools or explore the area’s dining, hiking, and coastal adventures. A great base to experience Wellington’s stunning coast and vibrant city life!

This is a very special place. A private studio with your own deck and outdoor bathtub in a stunning seaside setting. The hillside location means panoramic views from beautiful Ōwhiro Bay over Raukawa Moana (Cook Strait) to the majestic Kaikōura mountains of the South Island. You'll be in the heart of a wildlife reserve, yet only 12 mins to the city centre and airport, and 5 mins to the shops, cafes, bars & cinemas. It is nature at its wildest on the edge of the city.

It's a walk up to a special view of Wellington

Nestled against the bush just above our home, our studio offers an amazing view of Wellington Harbour. Reaching it requires a brief uphill walk, but for those who enjoy the outdoors and don’t shy away from a little exercise, the reward is well worth it. The breathtaking views and cosy accommodation make the effort part of the experience. That said, if you prefer level access or are travelling with particularly heavy luggage, our studio may not be the best fit.

Self-contained Studio-Wadestown

Newly built downstairs self-contained studio unit in a century old Wadestown bungalow. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided. Unit has a separate entrance, and guests are welcome to share the deck and garden areas set amongst the bushclad hills. Centrally located being a 25-minute walk or less than 10-minute bus ride to the city and Sky Stadium. Bus stop at the gate. Approximately a 10-minute car ride to the ferry terminals. Free on street parking.

Helston Hideaway

Fully furnished apartment just off SH1 with easy access to Wellington's city centre, the ferry and Sky stadium. A perfect stop off on the way to a game, a concert or to hop on the ferry. This is a great base for enjoying the Wellington region and the northern suburbs. It is a 8 minute walk to Johnsonville centre with access to #1 bus line and the train. This apartment is on the ground floor of a two-storey house. BBQ available on request.

Hunter Bay Wellington South Coast Bach

Hunter Bay House is absolute stand alone beachfront at the southern most tip of Wellington. 25 minutes from the CBD it's positioned at the foot of rural land overlooking wild Cook Strait with uninterrupted sea views across to the snowy South Island mountain ranges. A calm & comfy place for two, this private retreat-style house includes a spa that looks out to stunning views of the Wellington harbour & the Remutaka mountain ranges. Imagine opening the double doors of the Master bedroom while enjoying the view with breakfast in bed.
