Hay Loft in the Peak District near Buxton

Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

It is only a minute's walk to the train station which can take you to Edale and Hope Valley. Within one stop you can further explore the Peak District and surrounding area. If you fancy a trip to the city then both Sheffield and Manchester are easily accessible on the train. Perfect little place for a relaxing getaway.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall. Quiet guests appreciated.
