Chalet D

Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

Cairn Pod

Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Corry Cabin - near NC500, secluded & offgrid(ish)

Corry Cabin is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique and homely stay. Off-grid-ish, it has all the amenities you would need for day-to-day life including a sink, mains water due to licensing, mains electric, free wifi, a shower and toilet. Corry Meadow is a working croft, go on an adventure then come home to a cosy fire and a comfy bed. FROM MID NOVEMBER TO END MARCH we switch to winter mode because of frost.

Brand new, self-contained woodland studio

Take it easy and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway in a woodland setting in the Highlands of Scotland, only 5 minutes from the NC500 route. Close by local amenities are available in the towns of Alness and Invergordon a short 10 minute drive away (shops, restaurants, leisure centre, golf course, fishing etc). We are also a 25 minute drive from Inverness. This brand new dog friendly (maximum 2 dogs) location with outdoor space has quiet forestry walks on the doorstep.

Cute tiny shepherd's hut near to the village

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a semi-wild orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

It is the perfect base to access the world famous NC500 and the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Built to a high specification, our Pod offers comfortable, spacious accommodation. Grieves Cottage offers a secluded and peaceful setting with views looking out onto a tidal sea loch Fleet nature reserve, with a great opportunity to view seals and other sea wildlife. Grieves Cottage also contains a fully enclosed garden, gravel drive. Your stay will include starlink broadband (250 mb), all bed linen, towels, electricity, heating, wood for sitting room stove.

Your hosts Eric and Alison moved from Surrey after falling in love with Dornoch and can’t wait to share their favourite places with you.

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

Cosy Cottage

Cosy Cottage is a charming former stable cottage located just 150 metres from Embo's beautiful sandy beach. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake to views of the surrounding Highland countryside and distant mountains. Full of character, the cottage features wooden floors throughout, making it ideal for beach lovers, walkers and those returning from days spent exploring the coast.
