Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.
