Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

The white, wooden two bedroom bungalow is situated in Ulsta where the inter- island ferry arrives in Yell and departs for Toft on the Mainland. There are stunning views over Yell Sound and beautiful sunsets can be seen from the lounge and kitchen windows. The front bedroom has one double bed and one single. The back bedroom has bunk beds and a single bed. Washing machine and outside drying line. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. There is ample parking and a garden.

Although isolated, This cottage is cosy and the perfect place to explore this beautiful Island, full of nature at its best with thirty miles of beaches,caves,cliffs,seals,birds and otters and if you are really lucky you may see the Orca pass by in the sound of Papa from the cottage.

Really get away from it all in this unique secluded bothy tucked away on the west coast of the Whiteness peninsula on the shore of the beautiful Stromness Voe. Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
