A rustic and homely house on a remote sheep farm

Our farm is the easternmost habitat place on Iceland and extremely remote. We are surrounded by mountains and the ocean, and there are many hiking options. We have a lighthouse here along with a small weather station. Our little farm gets closed off from the world during the winter months, so it's the perfect opportunity for those that seek a break from just about everything. You probably couldn't imagine a more peaceful and quiet place, where you are also welcomed to join us in any activities.

Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4, 701 Egilsstaðir

Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Enjoy your stay in our just renovated apartment in the historic old music school Steinholt. It is right in the heart of Seydisfjordur centre. Entrance is from a big terrace that can be enjoyed during the stay Apartment offers a well equipped kitchen & a cosy living room. Downstairs is a big bedroom for 2-4 people. A double bed & two single beds. Bathroom with shower and washing/Dryer machine is available. Spectacular mountain and fjord view. Ideal for couples, families or group of friends.

Home with a view - Easy check in

A cozy two bedroom apartment with a beautiful view in Egilsstadir, the biggest community in East Iceland. Egilsstadir is well located with all services. You will find grocery stores and good restaurants nearby. The apartment is on fifth floor with a great view over Egilsstadir town and Lake Lagarfljot which supposedly hosts the infamous monster worm “Lagarfljotsormurinn". The apartment sleeps four in two bedrooms, the kitchen is open into the living room and well equipped. Self check in.

Fjörður 1

The house, „Fjörður" was build in 1906 and has been in the same familiy since then. Fjörður, which is appr. 140 m2, is on 2 floors and comes with a big garden. The main floor consists of 2 livingrooms (one of them has a 120 cm bed), fully equipped kitchen with a dinner table, 1 bathroom with a shower, and a loundry room. The upper floor consists of 4 bedrooms, each with 2 beds, there is also 2 extra mattresses. Please note the house is very old. The stair is very steep.

Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Árblik-Home away from home

Árblik is a very well regarded house in Seyðisfjörður. Built nearly 100 years ago it is full of local history. The house is quiet, bright and has a atmosphere. The house started life as a bookbinders for the East coast. It has since been a local shop, a fisherman's net workshop and even a refuge for British soldiers during WWII. All rooms are clean, tidy, well presented and comfortable. All of Seyðisfjörður´s amenities are very close by.
