The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

The Guest House is on the Gold diggers pass and has beautiful views of private nature reserve (MACNR). The Spekboom River is a twenty-minute brisk walk from the Guest House.
